The event Lattitude Open House (3.30 – 7.30pm) will be hosted at 44 Queens Road, Reading, RG1 4BB
Formerly known as Gap Activity Projects, the charity has been sending young volunteers on overseas projects for more than 35 years. Now, that wealth of experience will be available first-hand as staff host a series of "OpenHouse" evenings at their city-centre offices in Reading. As well as being able to give more details on specific Lattitude projects, there will also be the chance to quiz them on wider aspects of taking a gap year - from how to plan it to making sure you're safe while you're away.
For those who may be put off by the cost of taking some time out, there will also be the chance to talk about Lattitude's various bursary schemes, which aim to make international volunteering available to everyone.
There's no need to book, just turn up for a chat, cup of tea and a biscuit or two...
